"Orlando who?" or, Spinsters Get a Fan...

...in the personage of Narnian royal Mark Wells!

Dearly Beloveds,

We...have...done it! We have broken through, crossed over, made contact - with that most elusive, exquisite, inimitable species of mankind known as Obscure British Actors. And the best part of it is: he found us! (No joke! My inbox will attest to it!)

The actor in question is one Mark Wells, profiled in January as part of our exclusive spotlight on the Men of Narnia (he's the elder King Edmund, for those of you who haven't left a cave since November '05), and not only is he twice as lovely as I’ve led you all to believe - he’s got a sense of humor to boot! Indeed, this delicious dark-haired creature will quickly have even the most skeptical among you saying: “Orlando who?” :D

Hey Spinsters!!!

It's Mark Wells here.  I play King Edmund in the Chronicles of Narnia.  I was doing a search on the internet for publicity photos, and I found your site - it had me hunched over in giggles!!!!  I'm so delighted that you guys are out there in internet land, it gave me such a tickle!  Go Spinsters!!  Hahaha!! I LOVE it!!  I'll be sure to tell the High King Peter (Noah) to check your site out, I'm sure he'll crack up.  You guys rock :-)

I've added my headshot, which only came into cyberspace today, as a thank you for your devotion to Narnia (and you even made me blush!!! hahaha!)

Keep up the good fight - don't ever let those bastards drag you down the aisle!! hahaha! Oh, it just cracks me up! :-)
